Week 7 Rankings – QB

Week 7 is the time to separate yourself from the pack. You can see the playoffs in the horizon so there’s no time to slip up. And with Drew Brees and Terrelle Pryor on bye’s this week, it’s important to know who to start in their place. Without further ado…

Opponent in Parenthesis

1. Peyton Manning (@IND) – Peyton’s return to Indy for the first time should be emotional for everyone expect the Broncos QB who’s all business

2. Aaron Rodgers (CLE) – Missing Randall Cobb for 8 weeks is tough, but Rodgers will find a way to overcome it

3. Cam Newton (STL) – His play has been both electrifying and disappointing, but I think “Good Cam” comes out this week

Consistency is the key for Cam

4. Andrew Luck (DEN) – Chad Henne put up respectable numbers against the Broncos D. And with the Colts most likely playing from behind, expect a lot of passes thrown

5. Tony Romo (@PHI) – The Eagles defense is about on par with that of the Broncos: the same defense that Romo put up 500 yards on

6. Matthew Stafford (CIN) – Last week he showed he actually can perform well with Calvin Johnson at less than 100%. This week, Calvin should be closer to full healthy

7. Robert Griffin III (CHI) – Looked like the RGIII of old last week with many more designed runs. If those keep coming, so will the fantasy points

Remember #Griffining? Me neither

8. Tom Brady (@NYJ) – His game winning touchdown was a thing of beauty, he just needs to make those throws more often

9. Philip Rivers (@JAX) – Outplayed Andrew Luck on Monday night… he shouldn’t have any trouble outplaying Chad Henne on Sunday afternoon

10. Jay Cutler (@WSH) – 10 days to prepare for a porous Redskins defense is always nice.

If only the Bears QB was as muscular as the guy that comes up when you google "Jay Cutler" then maybe he'd be in the top 5

First five out: Russell Wilson, Nick Foles, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger
